                         All guests of the Babe Cave are in the club! Hate has no home here.

Arrival:  In order to respect the time of both our clients and our staff, I ask you to arrive on time for your appointment. Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will forfeit the original appointment and will need to be rescheduled. On the contrary, if you arrive more than 10 minutes early, please respect the client's allotted time ahead of you and wait until your appointment time to come into the salon.

Chemical Processing: The health of your hair is of our utmost importance, therefore all guests will have an in-person consultation prior to using any professional lightener. If hair has been previously colored outside of The Babe Cave, I cannot guarantee results.

Blonding: PLEASE wash hair prior to any lightening service (highlights, balayage, reverse halo, etc.) Dirt, oil and product build up seriously affects the outcome of your blonding session. The bleach reacts with the buildup on the cuticle causing the foils to expand, heat and potentially explode. I will not guarantee results if you come in with unwashed hair.

Chemical Service Aftercare:

If you are receiving a full head of semi-permanent or permanent color, it is highly recommended to use color-safe shampoo and conditioner to increase longevity of service provided. Always rinse in cool water to ensure cuticle sealing. 

If receiving any blonding service (i.e. highlights, global lightening, balayage), purple shampoo is recommended once a week, ONLY after noticing brassiness/yellow pigmentation. A deep conditioning mask is also encouraged.

**VIVIDS- If you are receiving direct dye (bright street colours), it is imperative you follow after-care instructions closely, as vivids do not use developer and therefore do not penetrate hair's cuticle making colour loss/fading very likely.

1. ALWAYS wash in cold water

2. Use a pigmented conditioner to keep colour vibrant (I suggest Keracolor Clenditioner)

3. Wash only 2-3x per week

4. If swimming, avoid hair's contact with chlorine

5. Use sulfate-free shampoo to reduce colour stripping

6. Reduce heat use (hot water, flat iron, direct sunlight) as much as possible 

7. Use a UV protectant daily

The salon carries most products recommended and can be purchased at time of service
